How to get to Emaar Aquarium from Kartal?

Kartal is a central district on the Asian side of Istanbul. Emaar Aquarium and Underwater Zoo is located in Üsküdar district. The distance between Kartal and Emaar Aquarium is approximately 20 kilometers and it takes approximately 30 minutes by private car. You can check your route on map apps to better plan your journey.

Transportation by Metro and Dolmus

1. Transportation from Kartal to Metrobus Station:
   • M4 Kadıköy-Tavşantepe Metro Line: Take the M4 metro line from Kartal Soğanlık and get off at Göztepe Metro stop.
2. Metro to Minibus:
   • From Göztepe Station: After getting off at Göztepe station, take the minibus in the direction of Uzunçayır – Ünalan – Bulgurlu.
3. From the van to Emaar Square Mall:
   • Get off in the direction of Şehit Timur Aktemur – Küçük Çamlıca, you can reach Emaar Shopping Mall in 4 minutes walk.

4. Transportation from Kartal to Marmaray Station:
   • M4 Kadıköy-Tavşantepe Metro Line: Take the M4 metro line from Kartal and get off at Ünalan stop.
   • Walk from Ünalan to Uzunçayır metrobus stop
   • Take one of the following bus lines from Uzunçayır metrobus and get off at the Mobilyacılar Sitesi stop.
     • 15BK Kadikoy – Dereseki
     • 14DK Kadikoy – Qur’an Course
     • 15TK Kadikoy – Tokatkoy
       

Transportation by Metro

1. From Kartal to Kadıköy:
   • Take the M4 subway to Ünalan in Kadıköy direction
2. Walk from Ünalan:
   • Emaar Square Mall is about 10 minutes’ walk from Ünalan bus stop.
     

Transportation by Private Vehicle

• D-100 Highway (E5): From Kartal, head towards Kadıköy on the D-100 highway. You can reach Ünalan by following Ümraniye signs from Kadıköy.
• O-1 Highway (TEM): From Kartal, cross the TEM highway to the Anatolian side and take the Kozyatağı exit towards Ümraniye. You can reach Emaar Square Mall by following the signs for Ünalan.
