Chinese Water Dragon

Chinese water dragons mostly live in freshwater lakes and streams. They are active during the day and spend most of their time in trees and plants. If threatened, they can jump from trees into the water to swim and stay in the water for 90 minutes.

LIVING AREA: China and Southeast Asia

NUTRITION: Although it is a carnivorous creature, they can sometimes feed on plants, usually insects.

SIZE: Men 85-90 cm. females reach a length of 60 cm.

The Chinese Water Dragon has colors in shades of green. There are orange and yellow spots on the neck parts. Their long tails help them swim fast. It can reach large sizes with its tail.
